How many numbers have each badge?

Updated 2026-10-01

Pick a badge whose condition we can evaluate. The finder counts integers from 0 to 1,000,000 that match. The probability printed on the official badge page is shown next to that count so you can see the two side by side.

Runs in your browser. A sum of published EP is not the official total.

Published counts from another engine

rngdle.art’s guide for engine art-1.0.0 lists pattern counts that are not official EP: Fibonacci 30 (0.003%), repdigit 45 (0.0045%), palindrome 1,989 (0.1989%), prime 78,498 (7.8498%), Harshad 95,428 (9.5428%). Those are that engine’s definitions. Use them as a cross-check only when our rule text matches theirs.

Mini Scramble, Dunes, and Sandwich each have their own page because people search the names: Mini Scramble, Dunes, Sandwich. Dunes is not in the finder until the alternating-shape sentence is coded. The condition text is still on the badge page.

Counts are precomputed by scripts/enumerate-scores.ts across all 1,000,001 integers and shipped with method top-sum-1.0. The lookup stays in your browser. Download all counts.

What I checked myself

I compared one published probability with a count I could recompute. Sandwich is printed at 10.0%. A separate guide counted 99,954 sandwiches out of 1,000,001 values, which is 9.9954% and rounds to that 10.0% line. I treat 10.0% as the official rounded string and any full count on this page as our enumeration, dated with the badge table from 1 October 2026.

Questions people ask

Why can’t I count every badge?

Some official conditions are puzzles in prose, such as inserting an operator to make an equation. Guessing a parser would invent matches. Those stay out of the finder.

Does the official site publish the count?

It publishes a probability string, often rounded. It does not publish the integer count on the pages we saved.
